I'll take all night if I have to!

The Civil Rights Act of 1990. aka the ADA, Americans With Disabilities Act was passed by Congress, and signed into law by George Bush, to extend protections afforded by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, based on race, religion, etc, to People With Disabilities.

YES, FOLKS, IT'S A CIVIL RIGHTS ACT

.
Ironically, the authour of the Civil Rights Act Of 1990, Tony Coelho had epilepsy, but the USSC ruled that epilepsy wasn't a disability. This led to the 2008 signing of the ADA Amendments Act. like the USSC, many folks confuse the ADA Standards, guidelines for physical barrier removal, with the fact that the ADA is anti discrimination legislation, a major Civil Rights Act like the Civil Rights Act of 1964. some folks just cant get their head around this reality.
